What we collect

When you complete an enquiry or quote form on this website we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are enquiring about and any job details you choose to add. If you call or email us we keep a record of the contact details you supply and the work discussed.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote for the work.
• To arrange access, attend the property and complete the job.
• To issue certification and records where the work requires it, including gas safety documentation.
• To keep records of completed work, guarantees and payments, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Our lawful bases are your consent when you submit an enquiry, performance of a contract once you instruct us, our legitimate interest in running the business, and compliance with legal obligations relating to gas work and company records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary: with the Gas Safe Register and manufacturers such as Vaillant when registering work or a warranty, with trusted trades where a job requires them (for example on bathroom fitting), with our insurer or accountant where relevant, and with service providers who host this website and process enquiry forms on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months. Records of completed work, certificates, guarantees and payment records are kept for as long as required for warranty, insurance, legal and tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email rhp@rusupo.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
